TRUSCULPT® ID AND 3D

Before your treatment:

  • Hair in the treatment and return pad area need to be shaved.
  • Be well hydrated prior to the treatment.
  • Body piercings may need to be removed if under or near the treatment area.
  • Notify us of any changes to your health history or medications since your last appointment.

After your treatment:

  • Redness and swelling may occur and typically resolve within a few days.
  • Palpable nodules that are tender to the touch or lumps in the treatment area may develop up to 72 hours following the treatment, and typically resolve over several weeks.
    • Gently massage the nodules for two to five minutes twice daily.
  • Multiple treatments may be required.
  • Notify us if any of the following occurs:
    • Blistering, crusting, or skin burns.
    • Tenderness, redness, or swelling persisting longer than a few days.
    • Nodules that are tender to the touch or lumps in the treatment area that last longer than four weeks.
      • These may develop up to 72 hours post-treatment and typically resolve over several weeks.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Before your treatment:

  • Hair should be cleanly shaven.
  • Leave a representative sample unshaven for assessment.
  • Do not wear makeup on the treated area on the day of treatment.
  • No sun-tanning or self-tanners (spray tans, tanning lotions, tanning beds, sun exposure, etc.) four weeks prior to treatment.
  • Some medications or supplements may increase the risk of bruising. Consult with us.
  • No waxing, plucking or tweezing at least four weeks prior to treatment.
  • Some body parts may require a longer wait time.
  • Avoid treatments (depilatories, harsh chemicals, etc.) that may irritate the skin for one to two week(s) prior to treatment.
  • Notify us with any changes to your health history or medications since your last appointment.
  • History of herpes or cold sores may require an anti-viral prescription prior to treatment.

After your treatment:

  • Avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen.
  • Redness and perifollicular edema (looks like a rash/bug bite) are common and resolve with time.
  • Bruising and swelling are less common but may occur and will resolve with time.
  • Hair may take up to two weeks to fall out.
  • Avoid heat (hot tubs, saunas, etc.) for one to two day(s).
  • Avoid skin irritants (products containing: tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents, etc.) a few days post-treatment.
  • Do not wax or pluck between treatments.
  • Notify us of any concerns (blistering, excessive redness/swelling, etc.).
  • Hair removal requires a series of treatments. Number of treatments depends on body location and type of hair.
  • Consult with us about when to resume skin care regime.

LASER GENESIS SKIN THERAPY

Before your treatment:

  • Do not wear makeup on the day of treatment.
  • Excess hair may need to be shaved. Men should be cleanly shaved.
  • No sun-tanning or self-tanners (spray tans, tanning lotions, tanning beds, sun exposure, etc.) four weeks prior to treatment.
  • Avoid treatments (waxing, depilatories, etc.) that may irritate the skin for one to two week(s) prior to treatment.
  • Notify us with any changes to your health history or medications since your last appointment.
  • History of herpes or cold sores may require an anti-viral prescription prior to treatment.

After your treatment:

LIMELIGHT SKIN THERAPY PART ONE

Before your treatment:

  • History of herpes or cold sores may require an anti-viral prescription prior to treatment.

After your treatment:

  • Avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen.
  • Bruising, redness and swelling are common and resolve with time.
  • A “bug bite look” is common and usually resolves in one to two day(s).
  • Avoid heat (hot tubs, saunas, etc.) for one to two day(s).
  • Avoid skin irritants (products containing: tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents, etc.) a few days post-treatment.
  • Notify us of any concerns (blistering, excessive redness/swelling, etc.).
  • Leg vein treatments only:
    • Compression stockings (20-30 mm/hg) are optional.
    • Avoid high impact activity for three to five day(s).
    • Hemosiderin staining (brown staining) may occur after a treatment and usually resolves with time (can take one to two year(s)) but, on a rare occasion, it may be permanent.
    • Strict avoidance of sun exposure may decrease risk of permanent hemosiderin staining.
    • Large leg veins may take many months to resolve and should not be re-treated before then.
  • Consult with us about when to resume skin care regime.

LIMELIGHT SKIN THERAPY PART TWO

Before your treatment:

  • Do not wear makeup on the day of treatment.
  • No sun-tanning or self-tanners (spray tans, tanning lotions, tanning beds, sun exposure, etc.) four weeks prior to treatment.
  • Some medications or supplements may increase the risk of bruising. Consult with us.
  • Avoid treatments (waxing, depilatories, etc.) that may irritate the skin for one to two week(s) prior to treatment.
  • Notify us with any changes to your health history or medications since your last appointment.
  • History of herpes or cold sores may require an anti-viral prescription prior to treatment.

After your treatment:

  • Avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen to prevent further sun damage.
  • Bruising, redness and swelling are common and resolve with time.
  • Treated pigment will turn darker (brown to black) within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Do not pick at treated areas.
  • Treated pigment will exfoliate off the face in approximately one week.
  • Treated pigment will exfoliate off the body in approximately two to three weeks.
  • Avoid heat (hot tubs, saunas, etc.) for one to two day(s).
  • Avoid skin irritants (products containing: tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents, etc.) a few days post-treatment.
  • Notify us of any concerns (blistering, excessive redness/swelling, etc.).
  • Consult with us about when to resume skin care regime.

TITAN SKIN TIGHTENING THERAPY

Before your treatment:
