With its powerful monopolar radiofrequency (RF), this innovation works to treat an entire fat layer and eliminate fat cells in stubborn areas within even a single 15-minute session. A potent yet low frequency is utilized, producing a uniform delivery technology of 2 MHz monopolar RF that can deeply penetrate, selectively target, and therapeutically heat an entire fat layer from skin to muscle, while optimizing efficacy and maintaining a comfortable skin temperature.

When the TruSculpt iD handpiece is placed on the treatment area and turned on, a gentle warming sensation is expected. The sensation of the heat will intensify as the temperature increases, but the temperature will be increased slowly, allowing for comfortable adjustment to the therapeutic heat. The temperature can—in turn –also be decreased quickly as needed. Essentially, the feeling of the procedure is likened to the feeling of a hot stone massage.

The procedure time depends on the area and the number of treatment areas. Multiple areas can be treated in as little as just one 15-minute treatment, more specifically, it typically takes 15 to 30 minutes to treat the abdomen and flanks. The results are visible after just one treatment, with the best results seen after 12 weeks. Additional treatments may be required to achieve the personalized results you desire. The treatments are safe and effective, and the results are even and consistent.

Immediately after the treatment, the treatment area may be temporarily warm and flushed for less than one hour to up to 24 hours. There may be mild swelling for about four days and mild sensitivity to the touch for about one week. Afterward, normal activities and exercise can be resumed.

At minimal to no downtime, results are clinically proven to display an average of 24% fat thickness reduction; fat cells are irreversibly damaged, and permanently eliminated by slowly and naturally passing through the body over a period of 12 weeks.

Acne Scars

Acne scars are the result of inflamed blemishes helped by a bacterial buildup within the pore. When excess oil, dead skin, and bacteria accumulate, the follicle wall is broken from swelling. Lesions or indentation signify scarring and may present themselves through some of these common examples:

Rolling Scars ( > 4-5 mm depth): caused by “damage under the surface of the skin” wide in appearance with curves or shallow “wave-like” shape indented along the skin.
Boxcar Scars ( > 1-4 mm depth ): a common type of acne scarring, wide in appearance, sharp edges; commonly found on the cheeks or temples.
Ice Pick Scars ( < 2 mm depth): also a common type of acne scarring, usually less than 2mm; these scars look like deep pits that reach into the skin almost as if having been pricked or punctured– like a “V” shape, giving a poked effect.
Hyperthrophic Scars: raised and lumpy scars; may commonly be indicated on the back and chest, but also possible on the face and neck; can decrease as time progresses; may scar around the original “wound site.”

Environmental stressors like pollution, UV rays, and other toxins are detrimental to the skin, forming free radicals that damage healthy cells.
